For today's show we had Scott Kelley from Greywolfsurvival.com on to talk about how to travel safely when in permissive and non-permissive environments. Scott has spent the latter half of his life in the military and has a wealth of experience in the world of survival. Some of the key stuff we took away from our chat with scott include alerting the US Embassy to the dates you will be in said country and how not to look like a victim. We also learned what some things are you can do in order to help improve your chances of remaining healthy in some less hygienic countries around the world. Today we started out by recapping our recent Veterans Appreciation Event sponsored by Concerned Veterans for American that we hosted at Cowtown Range. The event went off without a hitch and proved to be a great time for veterans to do some shooting and get to know other like minded veterans in the area. Then we had our call in guest Mr. Darrell Morrow from Vertx talk with us about what sets Vertx clothing apart from other brands. It's not just about looking "Tacticool". Today we talked about some pretty controversial topics. First we each shared our views on our favorite EDC knife. We spanned the spectrum of knives from fixed blade to folder. We also went over our favorite EDC item from belts to flashlights. Lastly we discussed our optic of choice Aimpoint, Eotec, and Burris. Today we focused on why it is important to buy from local business and the effects it can have on the economy. If you buy from a local business as opposed to online or through a large chain up to 70% of that money stays in your local area. We went through our list of Arizona companies that we have personally done business with as well as companies we've heard of.
