Today we were joined by the fellas from Black Flag Firearms for a discussion about all things AR-15. We started out talking about what kind of products they manufacture. They brought in some of the rails they have for sale that run from 3in to 15in. Then we discussed some of the custom work they do assembling AR's to customers specifications. Today we had Alan from Gunslinger Tactical on the show to talk with us about some of the crazier holster setups he seen during his time making holsters. Alan also talked with us about some of the holster setups that his company manufactures. We also briefly discussed the need for careful holster selection when deciding on open or concealed carry. Today we had Will from Semper Paratus Arms on the show to talk with us about common mistakes people and manufactures make when building/ assembling AR platform weapons. Not all mistakes are made by regular people assembling their first AR, sometimes even big name manufactures can make mistakes so always give your new AR a good look over before taking it out to the range. On today's show we had Mike from Patriot Defense on the show to talk with us about gun counter myths and training myths. Taking it a step farther we discussed how these myths can be dangerous to new shooters and dangerous to our image as gun owners. Some of the myths we covered involved the use of shotguns in home defense and the effects ,or lack there of that the caliber of the pistol has on the bad guy. On today's show we talked about what you can do to form a reliable training group in your area. We covered the 6 things that are key to forming a reliable training group. It is important that you vet the members of your group to ensure that they are all committed to learning and improving themselves. It is also important to instill a sense of pride and ownership into the group so people have a vested interest in seeing it succeed. In the end the overall opinion was that we carry and live this lifestyle because we refuse to be victims and we refuse to let our family and friends be hurt because we failed to act appropriately.
