Today the topic of discussion was Line Gear and what goes into it. We opened by talking about building your line gear based around your skill set. Its all well and good to have a ton of high speed gear set up for use but if don't know how to use it, it won't do a lot of good. Its also important to train with the gear you plan on using so you know what works and what does not. Lastly we finished up by talking about what gear should actually go into your line gear. Today we took our time before getting on topic by talking about Capt. Matthew D. Roland and Staff Sgt. Forrest B. Sibley two airmen assigned to the 23rd Special Tactics Squadron who were killed in Afghanistan this past week. People are still out there fighting and dying never forget that. We ended on a more positive note by talking about the two ohio police officers we used a tourniquet to save a mans life. Then we jumped into what it takes to make a fighting rifle i.e. what should go in to a good fighting rifle. Be sure to join us next show to hear about practical line gear setup and application.

On today's show we had Rebecca on the show to talk with us about what should go into a med kit. Rebecca has over 15 years of experience as a paramedic. Glen went over what he believes are his five most important items that should be in a kit from tournequet to gauze. One of the more unusual things that goes into kit is unprocessed honey sticks which contain micro antibacterials. Today we had our friend Cecil Burch on the show for our round table. We went over some controversial topics such as favorite gun store myth, favorite go to fighting move and favorite workout. Cecil talked about his preferred method of dealing with a combat in a hands on fight. John talked about his dislike of the gun store myths out there reguarding shotguns. Glen informed us that hiking is his preferred way to stay in shape when the situation permits. On today's show we had the guys from LRK Mechanical on to talk with us about the difference between long range and precision shooting. During the show we learned about the effects the crown of the barrel can have on accuracy. We also learned a plethora of big words associated with making a gun a truly precision platform. Today we talked about functional fitness and how you can incorporate it into your everyday life. It doesn't have to be your standard push-ups, sit-ups and a run. It is possible to make everyday activities into fitness opportunities. You don't have to do this crossfit, p90X and zumba stuff to stay in shape. Another great way to stay fit for parents is to go out and play with the kids this is great for two reason, it keeps you fit and it also sets a good example for your children. Today we had a slight change in the schedule, we had Russell on from KE Arms instead of Tyler from AR500 Armor. Don't worry though because Tyler will be back on the show on the 29th of this month. Russell talked with us about why people should get involved in competition shooting. We also talked about some of the innovations that have come in the world of firearms and gear from the Competition shooting.
