Lights and Lasers

Today we enjoyed talking about flashlights and lasers and what they can do for you. We kind of glazed over the laser thing because we just got so wrapped up talking about flashlights. Lasers have a much more limited use than flashlights but thats not to say they don't have their uses. Flashlights are a lot more applicable to every day life. Even in the modern day world people still find themselves in low light conditions so be prepared with a good EDC flashlight. Slumberjack

Today we had Marily from Slumberjack on the show to talk with us about Slumberjack gear and what makes it so great. She started by telling us a little of the history of Slumberjack, from their humble beginnings as camping gear manufactures to what they are today. Go Outside!!!!

Today what was supposed to happen was a show about children growing up around firearms. What actually happened was 20 min of Glen talking about why he dislikes veterans telling non-veterans that they can't wear armor and high speed gear. Then we eventually started talking about getting outdoors and some of the benefits of doing so. Americans need to get back to their rough and ready roots and start going outdoors more. Personel Fitness

Today we had from Doug Lang Fitness on the show to talk with us about personel fitness and supplements. Glen preached about his views on being as fit as possible for a few min, he couldn't help himself. Doug also shared with us his views on supplements and which ones he recommends for his clients. Not all supplements are created equal and some are only created to make money, look for the ones that have been around for awhile and don't always hop on the newest fanciest thing on the market. Bug Out Bags Vs. Get Home Bags

Today we talked about the difference between bugging out and bugging in and what you should really put into a good get home bag. Get home bags are exactly what they sound like, they are designed to get you from wherever you are back home. Bugging out isn't always the answer, sometime it is advantageous to stay in and wait out whatever calamity is happening. Dry Fire and Low Round Count Training

Today Glen and John talk about some of the ways you can train without using high round counts or even any live fire at all. There are plenty of drills out there that don't require live rounds, just get on google and do some research. There are also drills out there that require very few rounds and can be preformed at any public range. If you are conducting dry practice be sure to clear all weapons and have no live ammunition present while training. Gibbz Arms, AR Innovation

Today we had one of the owners of Gibbz Arms Kevin, on the show to talk with us about their innovative side charging handle AR 15. Gibbz Arms also has a new side charging AR style rifle that is completely California Compliant and requires no bullet button and accepts AR box mags, all while having no pistol grip to speak of. SHOT Show 2016 Review

Today was our now annual SHOT Show Review! We talked about all the cool new products we saw that are coming out this year. More importantly we talked about all the new shenanigans we saw while there. Give the show a listen to hear about some of the things that really stood out as innovations. Slim pickings this year for SHOT Show bingo but we did manage to find a few gems hidden in the rough. Firearms Failures and Useless Accessories

Today we all gathered round to talk about some of our favorite weapon malfunctions as well as some of the more useless firearm accessories we have seen. As usual we started out talking about some current events including Glens recent trip in a hot air balloon and ending with the U.S. Marines who are still missing in Hawaii after a chopper crash. Then we talked about bolt overides and double feeds and rounded it off by talking about rail mounted knives and rotating quad rails. New Gun Legislation

Today Russell was supposed to be on the show with us to talk about some of the new things KEArms has coming out. Sadly he was not able to make it due to a random ATF inspection, which led us to our new topic. Glen ranted about the new gun legislation and what it means for firearms ownership in the near future. Glen also ranted with us about the Commander in Chief and shared with us some of his views on a few of the things he has done in the past.
