Shotgun Myths
Monday Apr 25, 2016
Monday Apr 25, 2016
Today we were graced with Rebecca's presence on the show and truly blessed with Glen's lack of presence on the show. We were supposed to spend the show chatting about shotguns but without Glen here to hurt us we had some freedom as to the topic. Shotguns are some of the least understood weapon systems in the world today. There are way too many myths about their use and it's difficult to separate them from fact. Shotguns are NOT a point and click interface, you do have to aim a shotgun. Be sure to join us next show to hear about range bags and what you should put in them.

AK vs. AR (kinda)
Monday Mar 21, 2016
Monday Mar 21, 2016
On today's show we were blessed to have Glen away so that John and I could actually get a word in edgewise. We started off the show with our usual current events talk covering the Belgian and French police officers kicking ISIS doors down in Europe and the election protesters blocking roads right here in AZ. Then we dove right in and started off dispelling some of the myths about the age old AR vs AK argument. The difference in accuracy between the two within 200 meters is negligible, and chance are the average person won't ever shoot out past 200 meters anyway. Be sure to join us next show to hear from some of the Independence Training Staff's children about growing up immersed in gun culture.

Lights and Lasers
Monday Mar 14, 2016
Monday Mar 14, 2016
Today we enjoyed talking about flashlights and lasers and what they can do for you. We kind of glazed over the laser thing because we just got so wrapped up talking about flashlights. Lasers have a much more limited use than flashlights but thats not to say they don't have their uses. Flashlights are a lot more applicable to every day life. Even in the modern day world people still find themselves in low light conditions so be prepared with a good EDC flashlight. Be sure to join us next show to hear about the age old argument of AK vs AR.

Go Outside!!!!
Monday Feb 29, 2016
Monday Feb 29, 2016
Today what was supposed to happen was a show about children growing up around firearms. What actually happened was 20 min of Glen talking about why he dislikes veterans telling non-veterans that they can't wear armor and high speed gear. Then we eventually started talking about getting outdoors and some of the benefits of doing so. Americans need to get back to their rough and ready roots and start going outdoors more. Be sure to join us next show to hear from Marily from SlumberJack about some of their amazing products.
