Gibbz Arms, AR Innovation

Today we had one of the owners of Gibbz Arms Kevin, on the show to talk with us about their innovative side charging handle AR 15. Gibbz Arms also has a new side charging AR style rifle that is completely California Compliant and requires no bullet button and accepts AR box mags, all while having no pistol grip to speak of. SHOT Show 2016 Review

Today was our now annual SHOT Show Review! We talked about all the cool new products we saw that are coming out this year. More importantly we talked about all the new shenanigans we saw while there. Firearms Failures and Useless Accessories

Today we all gathered round to talk about some of our favorite weapon malfunctions as well as some of the more useless firearm accessories we have seen. As usual we started out talking about some current events including Glens recent trip in a hot air balloon and ending with the U.S. Marines who are still missing in Hawaii after a chopper crash. Then we talked about bolt overides and double feeds and rounded it off by talking about rail mounted knives and rotating quad rails. New Gun Legislation

Today Russell was supposed to be on the show with us to talk about some of the new things KEArms has coming out. Sadly he was not able to make it due to a random ATF inspection, which led us to our new topic. Glen ranted about the new gun legislation and what it means for firearms ownership in the near future. Glen also ranted with us about the Commander in Chief and shared with us some of his views on a few of the things he has done in the past. Testing/Selecting Outdoor Gear

Today we talked about outdoor gear and some ways you can test your equipment before going out into the field. Glen talked with us about SlumberJack and some of the gear he has used in the past. We also talked about some of the adverse conditions you may find yourself in while out there camping or hunting. Glen briefly talked with us about the proper way to test gear and how some youtube personalities have a habit of under testing equipment. The Wilderness Tactical

Today we had the privilege of having Ralph and Sam of Wilderness Tactical back on the show to talk with us about some of their new gear coming out in the near future. They have new ankle med kits coming out that manage to keep a very low profile. Wilderness is also now manufacturing ankle holsters that were formerly made by renegade holsters. On today's show we talked about Cyber security with one of our listeners, Josh who specializes in cyber warfare. We covered everything from not putting your personal information out there on social media to avoiding scams that seek to steal your passwords and login information. Demystifying Gun Cleaning

Today on our future/past show we talked about some of the myths surrounding weapon maintenance and how to properly maintain your weapons. Generally speaking you do not have to clean your weapons every time you go to the range. However if its your everyday carry weapon some more regular maintanince may be in order. We also talked about some of the fancy advertising companies are using to try and sell your their products. It would behove you to so your research on the lubricant you select. Brethren Armament

Today we had Quinn from Brethren Armament on the show to talk with us about their version of the MP5 and what they have done to improve the platform. Quinn talked with us about the difference between the builders and manufactures. We also discussed the engineering that goes into the design of new firearms and yes there is A LOT of math involved in the process. AR500 Armor, The Origin Story

Today we had Tyler from AR500 Armor on the show to talk with us about how he got his start in the armor industry. Tyler came from humble beginnings, he didn't start life as a body slaying competitive shooter but he became the man behind on the the premier armor manufactures in the industry. He finished up the show by talking with us about some imporvements they have recently made to their micro carriers that will actually bring down the cost!
