AK vs. AR (kinda)
Monday Mar 21, 2016
Monday Mar 21, 2016
On today's show we were blessed to have Glen away so that John and I could actually get a word in edgewise. We started off the show with our usual current events talk covering the Belgian and French police officers kicking ISIS doors down in Europe and the election protesters blocking roads right here in AZ. Then we dove right in and started off dispelling some of the myths about the age old AR vs AK argument. The difference in accuracy between the two within 200 meters is negligible, and chance are the average person won't ever shoot out past 200 meters anyway. Be sure to join us next show to hear from some of the Independence Training Staff's children about growing up immersed in gun culture.

Lights and Lasers
Monday Mar 14, 2016
Monday Mar 14, 2016
Today we enjoyed talking about flashlights and lasers and what they can do for you. We kind of glazed over the laser thing because we just got so wrapped up talking about flashlights. Lasers have a much more limited use than flashlights but thats not to say they don't have their uses. Flashlights are a lot more applicable to every day life. Even in the modern day world people still find themselves in low light conditions so be prepared with a good EDC flashlight. Be sure to join us next show to hear about the age old argument of AK vs AR.

Monday Feb 15, 2016
Monday Feb 15, 2016
Today we talked about the difference between bugging out and bugging in and what you should really put into a good get home bag. Get home bags are exactly what they sound like, they are designed to get you from wherever you are back home. Dry Fire and Low Round Count Training
Monday Feb 08, 2016
Monday Feb 08, 2016
Today Glen and John talk about some of the ways you can train without using high round counts or even any live fire at all. There are plenty of drills out there that don't require live rounds, just get on google and do some research. There are also drills out there that require very few rounds and can be preformed at any public range. If you are conducting dry practice be sure to clear all weapons and have no live ammunition present while training. Join us next show to hear about bugout bags, get home bags and what the differences are in the two bags.
