Real World vs Competition Shooting

July 31st, 2017

Today on The Arms Room show we had one of our instructors, Josh on the show to talk with us about tactical vs Competition shooting and if skills from one translate into the other. Josh comes from a military background but was shooting competition before even joining the military. Josh firmly believes that competition shooting can make you a better real world shooter and vice versa. Shooting is what you make it so if you go into it with a certain expectation then you are more likley to get that type of outcome. Be sure to join us next show to hear about ammo selection and what types of ammunition we use for different applications.

Vehicle Maintenance

July 3rd, 2017

Today on The Arms Room we had our good friend Pat on the show to talk with us about vehicle maintenance. Pat has been a professional Mechanic for more than 20 years and has seen his fair share of mechanical problems. Pat talked with us about some common problems he sees when people bring their vehicles in to get looked at. He also talked with us about some of the basic things you as the operator can do to make your vehicle last longer. Changing the oil and testing your battery on a regular basis are just a few of the things that can ensure your car stays in good working order for as long as possible.

Be sure to join us next show to hear about some basic desert survival and how you can be as prepared as possible should a survival situation arise.
